Monsoon Motorsports was created in 2008 by Steve Weber and
Matt Watkins. Monsoon Motorsports originally ran in the now
defunct MROL Sim Racing League. The team would continue to grow
and when the MROL closed up, a few of the drivers decided to
join the FSB Racing league. While at the FSB league, Watkins and
Weber decided to form back Monsoon Motorsports. Monsoon
Motorsports is currently in its first full year of racing at FSB.
The team is coming off team championships in three different
series and looks to continue running well in the second half of
the FSB year. This season, Monsoon will add three drivers to the
team in Texas Nation, Mike Pruett, and Guy Pitra. All of the
guys are fairly newcomers to FSB just as Monsoon is and looks to
be strong and have a lot of fun together.
